ESGO Cervical cancer resource-stratified guidelines A multidisciplinary international development group led by Prof. David Cibula (ESGO) and consisting of 22 experts identified potential limitations to the standards of care as defined in the current updated ESGO-ESTRO-ESP Cervical cancer guidelines published in 2023 and suggested alternative approaches. The working group followed a global ESGO survey run in 2023 which involved 256 clinicians from 57 countries and pointed out potential limitations/barriers and missing recommendations. The new resource-stratified guidelines on the management of women living with human immunodeficiency virus have also been proposed. To ensure a global perspective, the guidelines were reviewed by independent international practitioners from Asia, Africa, Europe, South, Central and North Americas. ESGO Resource stratified guidelines for the management of patients with cervical cancer ARTICLE Working Group ESGO would like to express sincere gratitude to the international experts panel, who devoted their time and effort to the development of the ESGO Cervical cancer resource-stratified guidelines.
