ESGO-ESTRO-ESP Cervical Cancer Guidelines The European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO), the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), and the European Society of Pathology (ESP) jointly developed clinically relevant and evidence-based guidelines covering comprehensively cervical cancer staging, management and follow-up for patients with cervical. A working group was put together under the leadership of David Cibula (ESGO, chair), Richard Poetter (ESTRO, co-chair) and Maria Rosaria Raspollini (ESP, co-chair). The ESGO-ESTRO-ESP guidelines on the management of cervical cancer was released at the ESGO 2017 Congress in Vienna. The Cervical Cancer guidelines includes fertility sparing treatment, stage T1a, T1b1/T2a1, clinically occult cervical cancer diagnosed after simple hysterectomy, locally advanced cervical cancer, primary distant metastatic disease, cervical cancer in pregnancy, and recurrent disease. Principles of radiotherapy and pathological evaluation were also defined.
